CAN Academy began as the first barista training academy in Klang, driven by a vision to raise the standards of vocational training in Malaysia. From these early roots, we grew to become an SCA Premier Training Campus and a JPK accredited centre, recognized for our quality trainers, facilities, and programs. Over the years, we expanded into Bandar Sri Damansara and Kota Damansara, making our courses more accessible to communities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Today, our academies span coffee, green energy, and future AI skills, shaping professionals who are industry ready and globally recognized.

With over 20 years of experience in both the specialty and traditional coffee industry, Chong Cher Chieh combines deep expertise with a passion for education. An Authorized SCA Trainer (AST), CQI Q Grader, JPK NDTS Trainer, and HRDC Certified Trainer, he is equipped with advanced skills in Barista techniques, Latte Art, Sensory, and Roasting. Recognized for his ability to bridge tradition with modern coffee practices, he has mentored countless individuals and corporates to excel in the evolving world of coffee.

YONG EN NICK
With over 15 years of experience in the specialty coffee and trade industry, Yong En Nick is a seasoned professional dedicated to raising industry standards. He is an Authorized SCA Trainer (AST), CQI Q Grader, JPK NDTS Trainer, and HRDC Certified Trainer, bringing both global recognition and local accreditation to his classes. Skilled in Barista techniques, Latte Art, Brewing, and Sensory, Nick has trained and mentored aspiring baristas and professionals to excel in both competition and career.

ASSOC PROF IR TS DR SHAHRIL IRWAN BIN SULAIMAN
Dr Shahril Irwan Sulaiman is a certified SEDA Master Trainer with extensive experience in Solar PV Grid Connected systems, specialising in SEDA Solar GCPV System Design training. He brings strong industry expertise in solar installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance, aligned with SEDA Malaysia requirements. Dr Shahril has delivered structured, HRDC claimable solar training programmes for professionals across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Known for his practical and compliance driven training approach, he plays a key role at CAN Academy in developing competent, certified solar professionals who meet national standards and industry workforce needs.

MOHD NOOR BIN MAT ISA
With over 23 years of experience in the Electrical and Solar PV industry, Mohd Noor Bin Mat Isa brings unmatched expertise and dedication to training the next generation of professionals. He is a certified trainer for SEDA (GCPV) Wireman & Chargeman, SEDA Solar PV Installation & Maintenance, and has deep specialization in 132kV Switching Procedures as well as Switchgear Systems (11kV & 33kV). As a CIDB Green Card Trainer, he ensures safety and compliance are at the heart of every program. Respected for his technical mastery and hands-on approach, he has trained countless individuals and corporates to meet the highest industry standards.
